PREMION is a flowable turf fungicide used to control various fungal diseases on golf course turf. It contains two active ingredients: Pentachloronitrobenzene (PCNB) at 37.82% and Tebuconazole at 2.50%. It is designed for use on golf course turf, including greens, tees, and fairways, but is prohibited for use on golf course roughs, residential sites, or ornamental plants. Applications should be made with sufficient water volume to ensure thorough coverage. The product is highly effective when applied preventatively as conditions become favorable for disease development. Note that in New York State, specific application rate restrictions apply. Handling requires specific personal protective equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, socks, shoes, and chemical-resistant gloves (such as barrier laminate, nitrile, or neoprene). If applying in enclosed spaces, a respirator with an organic vapor cartridge is required. Users must avoid application during high temperatures (above 85°F) and must be cautious of environmental hazards, as the product is toxic to fish and aquatic organisms. Do not apply near water or areas where surface water is present. Always follow local regulations and specific state restrictions.
