Abamectin 0.15 Select is an ornamental miticide and insecticide containing 0.15% abamectin. It is designed for the control of leafminers and mites (such as European Red Mite, Two-spotted Spider Mite, and Tarsonemid mites) and the suppression of aphids, whiteflies, and thrips on ornamental plants. It can also be used to prevent pine wilt nematode in non-crop bearing trees and woody shrubs. This product is an emulsifiable concentrate that can be applied via foliar spray or through injection into trees and shrubs. For foliar applications, it is used in nurseries, greenhouses, and both interior and exterior landscapes. When using foliar sprays, the label recommends repeating applications at 7-day intervals as necessary to maintain control. For injection, it is suitable for commercial forestry production, nurseries, and residential areas. Users should be aware of potential phytotoxicity, particularly on certain fern species like Adiantum and Shasta Daisy. Always follow specific directions for mixing and application rates based on the target pest and site.
