The active ingredient is Metaldehyde (2,4,6,8-Tetramethyl- 1,3,5,7-Tetraoxycyclooctane) at a concentration of 4.0%. This product is specifically formulated to control slugs and snails. It is applied as a soil surface treatment, which can be broadcast using air or ground equipment. For optimal results, application is recommended in the evening and is especially beneficial if applied following rain or watering.
